If you've ordered from us before, you'll know our passion and fondness of the Narino region of Colombia. Based out of La Union, Mariano's coffees showcase a twist on the classic Narino profile: crisp, effervescent, but with a heavier stone fruit-like character.

Process: Washed: 24-hrs Wet Fermentation, Sundried
This is our first time purchasing coffee from Mariano Grijalba, through our partners at Shared Source. His farm is called Cerro Gordo, and his primary harvest season is from April- July. Processing-wise, he ferments the coffee in a cement tank for 24 hours, and dries his coffee in the sun. The township that his farm is in is called Palo Verde.
Mariano is a leader in the community, and his dedication to specialty quality coffee has inspired lots of neighbors to enter specialty production as well.
